About Me

My name is Laura Alyssa-Hannah. I am 19 years old. I was born in California, but grew up in southern Maryland with my wonderful family. I have four younger siblings: a brother, a sister, a half-sister, and a half-brother. My parents are divorced and both are remarried, I could not have asked for better parents. I have a beautiful yellow lab named Geni who holds a dear piece of my heart.

I am a Christ follower. I am a woman set-apart for my Beloved. I surrendered my life to the Most High God on November 18, 2006. The past four years have been a fight to run after my Prince. The desire of my heart is to fall more and more in love with Him each and every day. I truly stand in awe of the most perfect man. He has my heart and He holds my world in His hands. He is the Savior of my soul. He is the Lover of my life. He is the passion of my heart. He is all that I desire and He is all that I need; I can never get enough of Him. I hunger for His word and I thirst to be filled with His truth. I long to be near Him and to be in His presence. He is my every breath. He is the very essence of who I am. He is the core of my being, He is my everything.

The Lord has called me to the nations, to people. He has called me to love and nurture. He has called me to minister to women, young and old and to speak life and truth into lives. He has called me to prayer and intercession. He has called me to worship. He has called me to lead. He has called me to be a part in raising up a generation that is desperate to be in the Lord's presence and is set-apart for Him and His work. He has called me to discipleship and to preach. He has called me to be a wife and a mother. He has called me to be a woman of His Word. He has called me to be beauty to this world. He has called me to be a tree of life and a woman of godly wisdom. He has called me to be set-apart. He has called me to make the sweet presence of Him my home.

I love prayer, meditating on the Word, times of intimate worship, the Bible, the book of Romans, devotion, discipleship, the irrevocable call on my life, being in ministry, the nations, people, and most importantly my family and dear friends. I love creativity, the sound of the piano, Africa, horses, stars, thunderstorms, hot bubble baths, chai tea, honeydew, working out, cooking, sewing, painting, reading, writing letters,  drinking ice water, journaling, and worship music.
